TAMARA SEVUNTS
JENNIFER DAVISON
Tamara Sevunts was born in Montreal, Canada, to Armenian parents (with a dash of Georgian and Russian in there). She grew up playing the piano, learning languages, writing stories and dancing in the kitchen to her heart’s content.
Active in theatre as a performer her whole life, Tamara graduated from Marianopolis College with a background and acquired love for Art History. From McGill University she moved to NYC in 2011 to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she completed 2 years of training and the 3rd year Academy Company.
In 2014, Tamara premiered the part of Moth in Broadway’s own Douglas Carter Beane’s original new play ‘Fairycakes’. The show was also performed as part of the Scranton Shakespeare Festival later that summer.
